For years we've been accumulating denim jeans, the fabric is so wonderful and soft after being washed over and over again. If you have had good quality branded jeans, the fabric really will last for years.
 
I've always wanted to create bunting that's completely unique, so I'm slowly going through all those jeans to put together a few lengths of unique bunting. Each one will be different, but this gives you an idea of what the design will look like. A few plain, a few with an appliqué and some with pockets. The USA star has been made up of hand-stitched sequins and strips of different coloured denim. 
 
The flags are approx 14cm wide by 20cm long and the length will have 7 flags. The reverse will plain denim (without any appliqués or pockets) so there will be an obvious front and back look to it. 
 
You could use these for decorating bedrooms or kitchens and even use for displaying pin brooches or even add a flower to the pocket! Whatever you like really.....
